Guest Lecture: Territory Studio

Territory studios came to talk to us in a guest lecture, and I can honestly say that the work that was shown was absolutely incredible. The studio works on massive motion pictures with marvel for example. They created the graphic computer interfaces for The avengers Age of Ultron. Some of the UI's that they created for this film are absolute masterpieces, as can be seen below.

They explained how illustrator, cinema 4D and after effects all work together in order to create this graphic and i was blown away by the amount of detail put into the designs. It is only a small studio, and one person would create an entire UI in one day. Starting on illustrator and cinema 4D in the morning to set up a framework, and moving to after effects for it to be animated later.

After looking at some of the things that Territory studios have produced, I think that i will take more of an interest in Cinema 4d, as i believe that this is a very powerful tool to learn hoe to use.
